A little info on a great artist, Sam was amazingly able to put my vision on to paper. Sam is an artist living in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. She has always had a huge interest in animals and nature and is fortunate to live on the doorsteps of the Canadian Rockies, still her favourite place to reconnect with nature. She has been painting and drawing since she can remember and naturally gravitated to drawing animals. When not doing art, she spends most of her free time advocating for the release of Lucy the Asian elephant from the Edmonton zoo. She is VP/Fundraising Director of LEAP (Lucy's Edmonton Advocates Project). When not doing art or advocating, she spends time with her partner of 22 years and her 3 dogs - usually off camping somewhere!
