Booking and Cancellation Policy

Reservation, Payment, Confirmation, Cancellation and Refund Policy
India Authentic Tours is a customer orientated tour company and our customers are paramount, therefore we do all in our power to make sure that your trip to India will be one of a lifetime, in the positive sense.  It is very important to us that our policies are transparent and that our customers feel confident when it comes to booking with us.

Reservation, Payment and Confirmation policy :
Once you have received the tour itinerary and price you are happy with, you will be given 7 days to except it (the expiry date will be stated clearly on the offer).  To confirm your tour we at India Authentic Tours ask a deposit of 40% to be paid via bank transfer, western union or via our secure gateway system with a credit card of your choice.

Once we have received payment we will start to book your accommodation, flights, trains and any other services listed on your tour itinerary.  Due to the high demand and busy tourist market in India, we can not always guarantee the availability of all the accommodation listed in your itinerary, if this should be the case, we will contact you immediately with an alternative, this will be in the same category or above and it will not effect the price of your tour.

On arrival you will be handed a your first nights hotel voucher alongside your bill for the remaining 60%.  You can either pay the remaining sum via our gateway Internet service or our representative will meet you to collect a cash payment.  Once you have paid you will be given a signed copy of your bill confirming your payment.  Once we have received payment you will be handed a file containing all your flight and or train tickets and your remaining hotel vouchers.
Any tours booked between December 10th and January 20th must be paid in full within 60 days before arrival.  As must any special requirements all year round.

Cancellation and Refund Policy :
In the event of needing to cancel your travel arrangements due to any reasons India Authentic Tours must be notified in writing. Cancellation charges will be calculated from the time/date we receive your cancellation confirmation.  We at India Authentic Tours advise all our customers to take out independent travel insurance.

In the case of cancellation the following charges will incur:
60 days prior to arrival:  You will not be charged for any services stated in your tour (driver & car).  You may nevertheless be subject to a loss when it comes to any transport reservations made e.g. train, plane or other methods of transportation.  Accommodation refunds will be made or not made according to the accommodations in question own cancellation policy.
30 days prior to arrival:You will be subject to a25% charge for any services stated in your tour (driver & car).  You will also be subject to a loss when it comes to any transport reservations made e.g. train, plane or other methods of transportation.   Accommodation refunds will be made or not made according to the accommodations in question own cancellation policy.
10 days prior to arrivalor No Show:  No Refund.

In then case that you should need to end your tour unexpectedly, the refund, if any will depend entirely on the amount that we at India Authentic Tours are able to recover. Unused booked accommodation, chartered transportation, missed meals and guide services will not be refunded.
Any refund made may be subject to bank charges, these will be charged to the person being refunded.
